Where to eat and drink near D.C.’s Capital Pride Parade this weekend

Arriving early at Aslin is key to securing a seat in their large indoor/outdoor beer garden. Located in Logan Circle, they offer 21 draft beers and even have a coffee bar. Garden District, also in Logan Circle, opens at noon and offers a reservation-free patio. Known for their German and American craft beers and fried foods, it’s a great spot to visit. Etto’s patio operates on a first-come, first-served basis, so getting there early is recommended. Their pizza is a must-try, but the charcuterie is also worth a taste. Unfortunately, Le Diplomate’s streetside chalets are sold out, with up to 2,000 diners visiting their 300-seat establishment on weekends. For a bird’s-eye view of the festivities, head to Skybox, the rooftop bar at Players Club. Overlooking 14th and Rhode Island Avenue NW, it opens at 2 p.m. on a first-come, first-served basis. The Hamilton Hotel is hosting a retro-themed PridePOP pop-up bar to raise money for the Capital Pride Alliance. They also have a party on their patio in collaboration with Team D.C., starting at 3 p.m. for $25.
