Samsung SmartThings Expands Its Energy Management Solutions With Leap, Launching Demand Response in NY & CA

Samsung’s SmartThings platform has introduced the SmartThings Energy Flex Connect program, designed to help users earn rewards for supporting the energy grid. This program is available in California and New York and allows eligible users to enroll their devices and earn Samsung Rewards points by automating their energy usage during peak demand events.

With SmartThings Energy Flex Connect, users can easily manage their devices through the SmartThings Energy service within the SmartThings app. Supported devices like thermostats, plugs, air conditioners, lights, TVs, and appliances can be enrolled to automatically participate in energy events and conserve energy when needed.
