On June 25 at 6:10 pm, Decrypt reported that VanEck has filed an 8-A form for their VanEck Ethereum Trust, signaling that Ethereum ETFs may be launching in the U.S. in just a week. The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has given the green light for Ethereum ETFs to be listed on national securities exchanges. SEC Chairman Gary Gensler has stated that the approval of these funds is expected to happen sometime during the summer.
