Coinbase has officially launched its own version of Wrapped Bitcoin, called ‘cbBTC.’ This new offering allows users to access Bitcoin on the Ethereum blockchain. Coinbase’s cbBTC provides users with the ability to trade and use Bitcoin in the decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem. This move by Coinbase aims to meet the growing demand for Bitcoin on the Ethereum network. With cbBTC now live, users can easily convert their Bitcoin to cbBTC and vice versa, opening up new opportunities for trading and utilizing Bitcoin in the DeFi space.
