Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson has raised concerns about the safety of Tesla CEO Elon Musk, pointing to Musk’s relentless efforts to bring about change in various industries.
In a tweet, Hoskinson outlined what he sees as a common progression for individuals who advocate for significant changes. He described three phases: social destruction, legal harassment and imprisonment, and ultimately, assassination attempts by a “lone wolf.”
Hoskinson suggested that Musk may be edging towards this third and most perilous phase, indicating that he could be the target of assassination attempts.
These remarks come in the wake of a recent assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump during a campaign event in Pennsylvania. Fortunately, Trump escaped with minor injuries, and his campaign team has assured the public that he will continue with his campaign activities.
In response to the attack on Trump, some individuals have advised Musk to bolster his personal security measures. Musk acknowledged these concerns, revealing that there have been two incidents where armed individuals were arrested near Tesla’s headquarters in Texas.
The conversation surrounding Musk’s safety has escalated following his recent endorsement of Donald Trump for the 2024 U.S. presidential election. Musk reportedly made a donation to a Super Political Action Committee (PAC) supporting Trump’s re-election bid.
