Toledo, Ohio (WTVG) – A tragic car crash in Toledo on Saturday morning has resulted in the death of a 67-year-old woman. The incident occurred at the intersection of W. Central and S. Detroit Ave around 8:00 a.m. According to the Toledo Police Department, the woman was driving west on Central Ave when she attempted to make a left turn and collided with a vehicle traveling east on S. Detroit Ave. She was rushed to St. Vincent Hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
The second driver involved in the crash was transported to a hospital by private vehicle. The extent of their injuries and current condition is unknown at this time.
