Japan, Russia Rule Out National Bitcoin Reserve ‘For Now’ – Cryptonews

Japan and Russia have both ruled out the possibility of establishing a national Bitcoin reserve, at least for the time being. This decision comes as both countries continue to closely monitor the cryptocurrency market. While some countries have started considering the idea of holding Bitcoin as part of their national reserves, Japan and Russia have decided against it for now. They believe that the risks associated with investing in Bitcoin are too high at this point. Instead, they are focusing on other ways to regulate and benefit from the cryptocurrency market. While this may change in the future, for now, Japan and Russia are not planning to hold Bitcoin in their national reserves.
