Upcoming week will see several major companies like Mahindra & Mahindra, Piramal Enterprises, Bharat Forge, Tata Power, Biocon, Apollo Tyres, and others trading ex-dividend starting from Monday, July 1. These companies, along with others, have also announced bonus issues and stock splits as per BSE data.

The ex-dividend date signifies the adjustment of the equity share price to exclude the upcoming dividend payout. On this day, the stock becomes ex-dividend, meaning it no longer includes the value of the next dividend payment. Dividends are distributed to all shareholders listed on the company’s records by the end of the record date.

Stocks trading ex-dividend on various dates in the upcoming week include Geojit Financial Services, GHCL Ltd, Tata Communications, Dalmia Bharat Sugar and Industries, Apollo Tyres, SKF India, 3M India, and many others, each declaring final dividends ranging from ₹0.1 to ₹160.

Additionally, Worth Investment & Trading Co Ltd will undergo a stock split from ₹10 to ₹1 on July 3, while Remsons Industries Ltd will undergo a stock split from ₹10 to ₹2 on July 5. A stock split increases the number of shares and liquidity without changing the company’s overall value.

Oil India, GPT Infraprojects, and Remedium Lifecare Ltd have declared bonus issues in the ratios 1:2, 1:1, and 3:1 respectively. This corporate action offers existing shareholders additional shares in proportion to their current holdings.

Inventure Growth and Securities will have a Right Issue of Equity Shares on July 5, while Bajaj Consumer Care Ltd and Eclerx Services Ltd will have Buy Back of Shares on July 2 and July 4 respectively.
