China’s bond market issuances hit 7.16 trln yuan in March-Xinhua

In March of this year, bond issuances in China reached a total of nearly 7.16 trillion yuan, equivalent to about 1 trillion U.S. dollars, as reported by China’s central bank. Treasury bonds accounted for 920 billion yuan, while local government bond issuances totaled 629.45 billion yuan. Financial bond issuances stood at 956.3 billion yuan, with corporate credit bond issuances reaching 1.66 trillion yuan. At the end of March, outstanding bonds held in custody amounted to 160.8 trillion yuan.
