Bronx courthouse back on the real estate market for fist time in years

The old Bronx courthouse in Melrose has recently been put up for sale after sitting empty for fifty years. Located near the intersection of 3rd and Brook avenues, the building has undergone significant renovations during its time of closure, expanding from four floors to eight floors.

According to listing agent Harry Bouzaglou, the courthouse now boasts two staircases, two working elevators, and a spacious open layout. The building has also been updated with new mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, as well as a new generator.

Interested buyers can now purchase this historic property for $35 million.
