Toronto-based Bitcoin mining firm Bitfarms has recently fired CEO Geoffrey Morphy after he filed a lawsuit against the company claiming $27 million in damages for breach of contract. Morphy, who was previously President and COO, was promoted to CEO in December 2022. However, in March of this year, Bitfarms announced that Morphy would be leaving the company once its executive search was complete.
