Mocking Atheists won’t solve Toledo/Tama Co.’s problems

It has come to our attention that there has been an increase in mocking and belittling of atheists in Toledo and Tama County. This behavior is not only disrespectful but also unproductive in solving the real issues that our community is facing.
As community leaders, Pastor Todd, Mayor Sokol, and the Board of Supervisors have a responsibility to promote unity and understanding among all residents, regardless of their beliefs. Mocking atheists only serves to divide us further and distract us from addressing the important issues that affect our community.
Instead of resorting to ridicule, we urge all residents to engage in respectful dialogue and work together to find solutions to our problems. By listening to different perspectives and working collaboratively, we can create a stronger and more inclusive community for all.
Let us focus on the issues that truly matter and leave behind the divisive behavior that only serves to harm our community. Together, we can build a better Toledo and Tama County for everyone.
