The BSE Commodities index saw a positive trend, rising by 0.79% to 7790.2 at 09:47 IST. Refex Industries Ltd, PCBL Ltd, Chemcon Speciality Chemicals Ltd, Bhagiradha Chemicals & Industries Ltd, and Sudarshan Chemical Industries Ltd were the top gainers in the index. Other gainers included Solar Industries India Ltd, NMDC Steel Ltd, Lloyds Enterprises Ltd, Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd, and BIGBLOC Construction Ltd. However, JK Paper Ltd, Astec Lifesciences Ltd, and Kuantum Papers Ltd experienced a decline.
At the same time, the BSE SmallCap index was up by 0.65% at 54127.88, the BSE 150 MidCap Index index rose by 0.48% to 16267.65, the Nifty 50 index increased by 0.06% to 24339.4, and the BSE Sensex index was up by 0.02% at 79938.19. On the BSE, 2180 shares were trading in green, 940 were in red, and 115 remained unchanged.
