AMC, SLE among major communication services gainers; PARA, IHS among losers

On May 14, 2024, at 3:02 PM ET, several stocks saw significant gains and losses in the market. AMC Entertainment Holdings (AMC) surged by 29%, while Super League Enterprise (SLE) and HUYA (HUYA) saw increases of 22% and 13% respectively. Groupon (GRPN) and Skillz (SKLZ) also experienced gains of 11%. On the other hand, Locafy (LCFY) dropped by 13%, followed by IHS Holding (IHS) and DoubleDown Interactive Co (DDI) with losses of 12% and 10% respectively. Mega Matrix (MPU) and Paramount Global (PARA) also saw declines of 8% and 7%. In the S&P 500 Communication Services sector, there was a 0.6% increase reaching $293.50, while Telecommunication Services and Media & Entertainment saw increases of 0.1% and 0.6% respectively.
